A long time ago, while searching for any and every Miami Vice tidbit I could find, by chance I came across one single script that had been cross-referenced at the Library of Congress.
Being the curious type, I went to the LoC's online service (no website at the time), and did a search for "Miami Vice". It turned up between 50-60 registered but unproduced scripts. I was never able to find a way to get my hands on any of them, but there they were listed.
I also wondered how many unproduced scripts had been registered with the Writers Guild and Writers Guild East, since that's where most screenwriters register their works. I've never tried to get a list of unproduced Vice scripts from them, and I'm not sure how they'd treat a request for episode titles and writers of those unproduced scripts.
Any Hollywood professionals out there with suggestions? Is it even worth the attempt?
